PhD Theses – Guidelines
Typically, PhD students are externally founded or (more rarely) self-founded. Information on scholarships for international graduate students can be found on the ICU’s website.

In terms of supervision, I am happy to consider advising prospective doctoral students – in excellent academic standing – who wish to work on one of the following areas:

International Organization (especially their bureaucratic pathologies)

The United Nations (especially the UN Secretariat)

Genocide Studies

Diplomacy (especially Diplomatic History)

International Relations (excluding theory-centred research)

Art History and International Relations (including issues of cultural restitution)
However, kindly note that given my research leave at Oxford University, I will not be able to supervise any research students until September 2025.
