MA Theses – Guidelines
Typically, MA students come to us through the ICU’s Five Year program, the Rotary Peace Fellowship (RPF), or the Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development (JDS).
ICU also offers financial support to graduate students: info about it can be found here. The University’s brochure can be downloaded here, while the Graduate School’s is here.
In terms of supervision, I am happy to consider advising prospective students – in good academic standing – who wish to work on any of these areas:
-
International Relations
-
International History
-
International Organization
-
United Nations
-
Genocide Studies
-
Africa in International Relations
-
Diplomacy
-
Art History and International Relations (including issues of cultural restitution)
However, kindly note that given my research leave at Oxford University, I will not be able to supervise any research students until September 2025.
Should you be interested, please download and fill out the following form (in Word or PDF) with some basic information about your idea and email it to me.
